Why “LastWebPage”?

Because endless scrolling should eventually lead somewhere: to a question about what kind of digital world we actually want.

A place to pause

At the end of the scroll,
a better question.

LastWebPage is a public-facing media and conversation project about privacy, authenticity, digital rights and accountability. It asks what we should be able to expect inside the spaces we use online.

The internet is infrastructure. Websites, apps and platforms are the destinations. Our focus is on the identities, conduct, rules and responsibilities within those destinations.

LastWebPage creates curiosity and participation. Authenticity Alliance is the broader mission and organizing idea that connects those conversations.

Our editorial stance

Question carefully. Publish responsibly.

01

Challenge systems, not people

Ask direct questions about practices and design choices without turning uncertainty into accusation.

02

Separate ideas from evidence

Label illustrative examples and distinguish a rhetorical question from a documented factual claim.

03

Make sources useful

Specific cases require original sources, relevant dates and context about what the evidence actually establishes.

Open to correction.

A credible conversation can change when better evidence arrives. Corrections should be easy to raise and clearly explained.
